Turkey launches airstrikes in N. Iraq, neutralize 2 PKK terrorists
(MENAFN) On Thursday, the Turkish National Defense Ministry stated that Turkish security forces managed to neutralize as many as two PKK terrorists during conducting an airstrike in northern Iraq.
The ministry affirmed in a tweet on Twitter platform that the anti-terror raids will stay ongoing.
Turkish government frequently uses the term "neutralized" in statements in statements to indicate that the terrorists in question were surrendered or were murdered or arrested.
It is worth mentioning that northern Iraq has been considered as a favored point for YPG/PKK terrorists used for plotting terrorist attacks against Turkey.
