A senior government official in Zambia said on Monday that the Zambian government is looking to improve its trade and investment ties with the United Kingdom (UK).
The high commissioner of Zambia to UK, Paul Mihova, said that there are several opportunities to improve the trade and investment ties between the two countries due to the strong relations that are present over the years.
The official said that "We want to see more trade between Zambia and British businesses because opportunities are plenty and we want to turn these opportunities into sustained growth".
The two countries have a strong historical ties and it's evident as the UK has some investments in Zambia, the official said.
