Myanmar to welcome more Chinese visitors

Booking records of travel agencies in China showed that the Chinese tourists had Myanmar as a favorite tourism destination for the nearing Spring Festival holiday.
Shanghai-based Trip.com Group said on Saturday that "For this Spring Festival holiday, our platform received 50 percent more reservations to Myanmar than last year, and most visitors will welcome their Chinese New Year there".
The company said that more than 2,000 Shanghai tourists have booked trips through Spring Tour, one of the biggest travel companies in China, to go to Myanmar in the Spring Festival.
Zhou Weihong, deputy general manager of Spring Tour, said that "Myanmar culture is becoming more attractive to Chinese tourists".
