(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) The National Elections Commission has decided to hold the Presidential election on November 16.

The Gazette notification declaring the date of the Presidential Election was issued today.

Deposits for the Presidential election will be accepted from tomorrow (19) till 12 noon on the 6th of October.

Nominations for the election will be called from 9am to 11 am on the 7th of October.
