Official date showed that cargo throughput in China has increased 7.7 percent since last year to reach 7.9 billion tons in the starting 7 months of the current year.

The foreign trade cargo throughout increased 3.1 percent to amount to 2.5 billion tons in the period.
Container throughput at ports had a 5.2-percent rise to reach about 150 million 20-foot equivalent units in the time frame.
