1 drowned in flood in Istanbul

The NTV broadcaster said that 1 person drowned on Saturday in a flash food caused by strong rain in Istanbul, Turkey.
The NTV said that the man is believed to be homeless and he drowned as a heavy rainfall caused a flood at an underpass in the neighborhood of Unkapi on the European side of the country.
Buildings were damaged in the rainfall, sea and road traffic was disturbed.
Vehicles were trapped on roads and all ferry services on on the Bosporus Strait connecting the Asian and European parts of the city were stopped.
