(MENAFN) Azerbaijan registered a 9.6 percent surge in the overall value of deposits in the country during the fourth month of the year on annual basis.
Based on statistics the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) issued, the value of deposits of non-financial organizations recorded an 11.7 percent boost in April.
CBA further revealed that the value of deposits of individuals stood at 8.72 billion mantas to mark a 10.6 percent jump.
Deposits in foreign currency, the bank added, accounted for 64.2 percent of overall deposits to indicate a decline by 0.01 percent.
