Florida National University Ranked #14 for Most Affordable Online Colleges for Law Degrees

(MENAFN- PRLog) The online Bachelor of Arts in legal Studies program at Florida National University-Main Campus has been featured in SR Education Group's 2019 national online college rankings.
The most affordable Online Colleges for Law Degrees are offered at 19 colleges with available courses including Civil Practice and Procedure and Environmental Policy, Regulation, and Law.
SR Education Group has been publishing rankings of online colleges since 2009 and awarding scholarships since 2010. They pride themselves on thorough research and fair assessment of all available online programs, with the hopes of helping students make educated decisions when choosing an online degree.
To be considered for these subject rankings, schools need to be regionally accredited and need to offer at least one fully online degree in a given subject for the degree level of the list. Tuitions were manually researched and reflect the degree level of the list. If no degree level is specified, tuition was collected at the bachelor's level. Out-of-state tuitions were used unless in-state tuition is offered to all online students. Figures are accurate at the time of publication; please check with the institution for current tuition rates.
Florida National University made the list at #14 with their Online Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies Program ( https://www.fnu.edu/prospective-students/our-programs/sel... ) costing $19,250.
The numbers are quite close in terms of tuition so this number is only about $10,000 more than #1 and $11,000 less than #20. With this special recognition, the university hopes its status will attract top talent to the South Florida community and train them for this important role in our society.
Some example classes include Civil Litigation; Constitutional Law; Criminal Law; Ethics and Professional Responsibility; Legal Research & Writing II; White Collar Crime.
The Legal Studies Degree Program at FNU
The purpose of the Legal Studies Degree (LS) Bachelor of Arts Program is to expand students' critical and analytical thinking skills, advance students' ability to communicate complex data, both verbally and written, and prepare students for higher-level positions within the legal profession, gain admission to law school, or enter one of the fields below:
• Law Firms: paralegal, legal assistant, and legal administrator.
• Law Enforcement: correctional officer, police officer, investigator, and detective.
• Government: magistrate judge, administrative law judge or hearing officer (educational qualifications for these positions vary by state, with some states requiring a law degree).
• Corporations: human resources assistant, customer service representative, analyst, and consultant.
Another great benefit of an online legal studies master's program is that it offers flexibility for students who are also working professionals. Online programs typically follow the same rigorous curricula as on-campus options, leading to similar advancement opportunities for graduates. The online format is also ideal for students who are also responsible for additional commitments, including child or family care, on top of their work and class schedules.
