Doha Metro to achieve flourishing Qatari tourism
(MENAFN) An official of the Qatar National Tourism Council (QNTC) suggested that after the Doha Metro lines go live, the GCC nation is anticipated for a flourishing tourism.
Chief marketing officer of QNTC Rashed al-Qurese affirmed that operating the lines completely is expected to extend tourists with facilitated, secure and cheaper access to several tourist destinations in Qatar.
The official stressed: "this is good for us, many of the tourist locations (in Qatar) are linked with the Doha Metro."
"Qatar Rail has done an amazing job with the launch (of the metro) and obviously, it is a key project in the country and we will definitely look into more integration," he added.
