6.3 magnitude quake hits Tibet
Beijing, April 24 (Petra) - A 6.3-magnitude earthquake on Wednesday jolted Medog County in Nyingchi City, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, at 4:15 am, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was monitored at 28.40 degrees north latitude and 94.61 degrees east longitude, the center added.
"There are no immediate reports of casualties or any other material damage yet," the center said.
