China's road freight sees steady growth in first quarter of 2019
(MENAFN) China's road freight transport saw stable growing in the first quarter, official data showed.
Road freight volume rose 5.9 percent year on year to 8.19 billion tons in the first three months, the Ministry of Transport emphasized in a statement.
Henan province saw the fastest development in the index with a growth rate of 14.9 percent, followed by Shanxi and Heilongjiang.
Highway freight volume rose 10.2 percent year on year in the duration, according to the ministry.
