GREENSBORO, N.C. - April 9, 2019 - PRLog -- FIAT Club America will host it's 36th Annual National Convention from July 10-14, 2019, in Greensboro, NC at the Grandover Resort. This year, the "FIAT FreakOut," as the event is called, continues celebrating the ownership of FIAT brand in North America. FIAT USA is a major sponsor and will showcase its iconic Italian design and ownership lifestyle.

The FIAT FreakOut is a fun-filled four-day weekend designed expressly for FIAT enthusiasts of historic and vintage cars and new models.

This year's event will be held at the recently renovated, four-star rated Grandover Resort, rising above the foothills surrounded by the spectacularly forested mountain ridges of North Carolina. The main twelve-story hotel building is contoured by a superbly tended pool, a lavish spa, a newly-equipped fitness center and two award-winning 18-hole golf courses. There is also a parking lot reserved for guests.

Those five days, planned for July 10-14, will surely prove memorable to participants considering the series of unique FIAT events that are planned: among others, a track day at the Virginia International Raceway (VIR), an autocross at Dixie Classic Fairgrounds (in Winston-Salem), a Go-Pro Go-Kart Challenge, a choice of scenic drives to historic places, visits to two famous NASCAR Museums, a concours show of owners' cars, and the always treasured Saturday night Awards Dinner Banquet. Added for 2019, is a special trip to watch the races at legendary Bowman Gray course.

All those events will be fully coordinated, but opting out and staying by the pool or playing a round of golf are permissible. Personal enjoyment among kindred spirits is the FIAT Club's main goal for the whole event.

Like years past, the festivities are expected to draw several hundreds of FIAT and other Italian car owners and family members. No doubt a lot of story-swapping and pleasant socializing will also take place. In addition, a number of FIAT experts and vendor sponsors will be around so any questions you always wanted to ask about your car may suddenly find the right answer in an instant.

Best showing the individualistic spirit of FIAT owners, the event has long been named the Fiat FreakOut (FFO). In typical family spirit owners of affiliated brands such as Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Ferrari, and Lamborghini automobiles who are also Fiat Club members are also invited.

Fiat Club America is the largest and most active group of FIAT automobile owners and fans in North America. Since the year 1983, the Club has held an annual summer fiesta over five days filled with diverse and fun events designed to celebrate their members' shared passion for the FIAT brand. Also, of course, to display their vintage or new FIAT automobiles, always sharing vivid and fascinating stories about their ownership.
