Turkey: bus accident wounds several people in Istanbul
(MENAFN) On Thursday, several people were injured when a public bus crashed into walkers in Istanbul, local media reported.
The accident occurred in the Beyazit neighborhood of Fatih district in central Istanbul when the driver lost control of the bus for an unclear reason, the NTV broadcaster reported.
The bus crashed into five cars before crashing into group of people waiting at a bus stop, the report emphasized, noting ambulances and police were rushed to the place of accident.
The determined number of wounded people is still unknown.
