Iraq struggles amid electricity challenges
(MENAFN) Iraq was reported to be struggling to defeat all its electricity troubles, with the government facing heated criticism over its incapacity to offer a dependable solution.
Press TV reported that Iraqi people walked down the streets within several provinces last year in a demonstration against growing power outages.
According to the report, Iraq's Minister of Electricity Qasim Al-Fahdawi is now seeking to steer clear of any violent protests.
It further added that the Iraqi electricity minister is aiming to cooperate with Iran in order to overcome the issues.
