Egyptian woman exits Kuwait despite of travel ban
According to a security source, the woman left via the Kuwait International Airport in June 2017 and returned a few days ago. Upon her arrival, the immigration authorities discovered she was wanted to pay fines exceeding KD 330.
A security source said an employee denied stamping the passport of the woman and said he did not check her name although it is his prime responsibility of the officer before putting the exit stamp on the passport. The source added that it is likely the employee may have used the stamp of his colleague.
However, investigations are still underway to get to the bottom of the issue especially since the Ministry of Interior has warned its employees that only authorized personnel have the right to check the names of passengers
