Ukraine, Lebanon intend to revive political dialogue


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukraine and Lebanon have recently intensified business cooperation, but political dialogue needs to be resumed.

Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Kyslytsia said this during a meeting with the delegation of Lebanese-Ukrainian Friendship Parliamentary Commission of the Lebanese Republic led by its Head Mr. Michel Moussa, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reported.

"Serhiy Kyslytsia stressed the significant intensification of contacts between entrepreneurs of both countries in recent years. He also emphasized the importance to strengthen political dialogue and trade cooperation, in particular through bilateral political consultations between the Foreign Ministries this year, and the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Lebanese Trade and Economic Commission," the report reads.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects of Ukrainian Lebanese cooperation in parliamentary, trade, economic, investment and other areas of mutual interest.
