Saudi Aramco eyes stake in Novatek's Arctic LNG
(MENAFN) Saudi Aramco is currently negotiating the acquisition of a stake in Russian Novatek's Arctic LNG project.
Saudi Arabia's Energy Minister Khalid Al-Falih unveiled the news of the oil giant entering "serious" talks on the matter.
According to the minister, "the deal's price and terms have not yet been determined, but I hope an agreement can be reached this year."
Al-Falih added that "Aramco is exploring several liquefied natural gas (LNG) investments in USA, Russia and Australia."
