Tunisian budget deficit to be granted USD500m Saudi loan


(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia pledge to provide USD500 million of loans to Tunisia in support of its state budget deficit, announced the Tunisian Ministry of Finance.

Tunisian Minister of Finance Ridha Chalghoum and his Saudi counterpart Mohammed al-Jadaan inked the loan deal in Riyadh.

During a meeting, both sides explored ways to strengthen their bilateral relations in areas of finance and economy.

Chalghoum also entered talks with Saudi Minister of Commerce and Investment Majid bin Abdullah al-Qasabi on bilateral investment along with increased cooperation.
