Iraq, Jordan calls for addressing regional deterioration
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BAGHDAD, Jan 14 (KUNA) -- Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdulmahdi and visiting Jordanian King Abdullah II called Monday on importance of addressing deterioration and escalation in the region.
The two men were meeting at the government building in Baghdad and called for stopping deterioration of conditions and escalation in regional countries, as well as importance of protecting the Palestinian cause and Jerusalem, a government statement said.
They called for implementing outcome of the talks between the prime ministers of the two countries.
King Abdullah arrived in Baghdad earlier today and held summit talks with President Barham Saleh. (end) ahh.bs
