Syrian constitutional committee talks to commence
(MENAFN) Geneva will be hosting a meeting organized by the UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura on a Syrian constitutional committee.
The meeting was confirmed by to be joined by foreign ministers of Iran, Turkey and Russia, and is set for Tuesday.
The idea of setting up a constitutional committee in Syria was approved in January this year while conducting inter-Syria negotiations.
The constitutional committed is targeted to be established under a "credible, balanced, and inclusive" motto.
