UAE, Bahrain to cooperate on space team training
(MENAFN) UAE and Bahraini space agencies announced the achievement of a Declaration of Principles for the Training of the Bahrain Space Team.
The document was penned by the UAE Space Agency (UAESA) with the Bahraini National Space Science Agency (NSSA) and the UAE's Khalifa University.
The two parties, under the agreement, will join hands in the training of a space team from Bahrain in fields that include satellite technology, design, construction, testing, and launching.
"The signing of this declaration is a tangible result of the close relationship between the UAE and Bahrain in the arena of advanced sciences and will see us working together as strategic partners in the region's nascent but rapidly developing space sector," stated the UAE's Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi.
