Turkey continues its efforts to arrest all FETO suspects


(MENAFN) On Tuesday, Turkish prosecutors issued detention warrants for 69 suspects over their alleged relations to the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO), the group behind the defeated coup of July 2016.

According to a statement by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office in the capital Ankara, 29 suspects are defendant of leaking police employment exam questions in 2011 to FETO-related officers.

The Ankara-based processes in seven provinces are ongoing.

Distinctly, the same prosecutor's office issued detention warrants for 40 suspected FETO members containing 21 active-duty staffs as part of an investigation into the Turkish Land Forces Command. Processes were started in 21 provinces.
