London: woman burns to death in gas blast


(MENAFN) A woman has been killed in a suspected gas blast which ripped through a flat in north-west London, leaving the entire building engulfed with blaze.

The woman was discovered inside a flat in Fulbeck Way, Harrow, as firefighters searched the block on Sunday morning.

Three people, including an infant, have been saved from the first floor of the two-storey building as emergency services, involving 70 firefighters, were dispatched to the address.

The London Fire Brigade (LFB) announced: " The first floor partially collapsed due to the force of the explosion. Sadly, one woman was pronounced dead at the scene."
