Spectacular fashion show held in Shamakhi [PHOTO]

International Ethical Design event - "Sensitive Fashion"took place in the Meysari village in Shamakhi on September 27.

The fashion was held as part of the Nasimi Festival of Poetry, Arts and Spirituality, dedicated to the creative activity of one of the brilliant poets and thinkers of the East, Imadaddin Nasimi (1369-1417).

The event created on the basis of content published systematically during the last few years in the Baku magazine under the heading "ECO. Fashion Route", carries out the functions of informing and educating about environmental sensitivity in production of clothing and interior items, reproduction, restoration of forgotten and outdated traditional methods and production technologies, also serves as the showroom and the sales salon.

The works of Azerbaijani and foreign designers were presented as part of the fashion shown.

The fashion show showcased the styles of clothing that were used in Azerbaijan for centuries, clothes decorated with various national ornaments that were in vogue in different periods of time.

The audience highly appreciated the works of designers.

It should be noted that ethical fashion in general, and eco-fashion in particular, have long become popular destinations that develop many fashionable houses that favor a clean environment. The concept of ethical fashion itself is associated with the production of clothing from organic and recycled materials, as well as the socially responsible attitude towards employees involved in the entire production chain.

Notably, the Nasimi Festival of Poetry, Arts and Spirituality, organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan, is held in Azerbaijan for the first time on September 27-30.

The festival is held under the slogans "Beyond the Limited Self", reflecting the philosophical views of the poet, and 'I am a Particle, I am the Sun which are the poet's lines.

For the first time, registration for such a grandiose festival is held through the official website www.nasimifestival.live rather than via ticket sales and invitations.
