AZAL president meets with Switzerland's ambassador to Azerbaijan
AZAL President Jahangir Asgarov met with Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to Azerbaijan, Philipp Stalder.
During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to the new Baku-Geneva-Baku flights, which are scheduled to start on October 30 this year.
Jahangir Asgarov said that the flights to Geneva will be carried out twice a week - on Tuesdays and Fridays with Airbus A319 aircraft with improved comfort seats in three service classes - VIP Club, Business Class and Economy Class.
In his turn, Philipp Stalder thanked AZAL President for opening the flights to this destination and expressed willingness to provide any related support to the Azerbaijan Airlines in promoting this flight.
The parties agreed to make joint efforts to attract passengers to this flight and increase the tourist flow, as well as came to a decision to continue negotiations on this issue by involving officials from both countries' tourism departments.
