Blaze erupts at German warship injuring 10

(MENAFN) The German navy declared that German navy frigate "Schleswig-Holstein" has urgently went back to Kiel after a blaze erupted amid its training cruise wounding ten troopers.

It added that the warship left Germany's northern harbor of Flensburg for an operational examination, and the blaze took place at about 20:00.

It confirmed that the fire erupted from an electronic error at a control panel on the ship and up to ten troopers suffered of suffocation.

One among the wounded was in a critical state and was rushed to the rescue ship "Berlin" on Monday night, as seven more troopers were transferred to hospitals after the ship ported at the naval shipyard in Kiel.
