Oman- MCBS, Landmark Group sign MoU to develop human capital

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) withLandmark Group to develop human capital in the retail and hospitality sector in the sultanate.

Under the terms of the agreement, the Centre for Graduate and Professions Studies (CGPS), a training unit of MCBS,will develop specialised training in the retail and hospitality industry for young Omanis. This will help enhance their skills to take up job opportunities at various professional levels.

Landmark Group isone of the largest retail and hospitality conglomerates in the Middle East, Africa and India and the company has a commanding business presence in Oman.

The CEO of Landmark Groupsaid that the MoU would pave the way to equip young Omanis with the skills needed in the private sector.

Clive Freeman, CEO landmark Group Oman,said, 'We are happy to partner with one of the best collegesin Oman to develop young talents that would serve the business communities in the private sector.

'This partnership will compliment the call from both the Ministry of Manpower and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to prepare young Omanis to take up responsible positions to serve the country.'
