Pakistan: assailants throw acid at three girls
(MENAFN) Pakistani police declared that a group of men on motorcycles threw acid at three female students at a university in the city of Gujrat.
Officer Umair Hayat confirmed that police have detained one among the three following the assailant,which took place close to a bus station the Dinga neighborhood,while the girls were going to college.
He added that one of the victims sustained burns to her face,as the other two suffered burns on their arms.
The reason behind the attack was for a family conflict of a rejected marriage proposal, as the two sisters' uncle was one of the attackers, who arrived from Islamabad in order to take revenge on one of the sisters.
