(MENAFN- The Conversation) Children were at the centre of the ancient Egyptian worldview, but they are often over-looked as a group in Pharaonic society. This study day brings together experts to discuss different aspects of childhood in Egypt: from kings to commoners, health, religion and afterlife expectations. Following on from sold-out study days on 'Women', 'Men' and 'Gods' in Ancient Egypt, proceeds from this event will go to support the Museum's new Courtyard extension project.
