Pakistan- KP govt spending Rs8b on computerisation of pension payment system


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) PESHAWAR: The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been spending Rs8 billion to computerized pension payment system to facilitate the retired government's employees, Radio Pakistan reported.

It said that data of around 127000 retired employees has been computerized and the remaining would soon be completed.

The government claimed that brining all accounts online will help rid of fake pension collectors and ensure transparency in it.
