President congratulates Ukrainians on release from captivity
(MENAFN- UkrinForm) President Petro Poroshenko has congratulated by phone the first Ukrainians released from the captivity of ORDLO [the uncontrolled areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions] and continues to control the whole process of exchange.
Spokesperson for the President of Ukraine Svyatoslav Tsegolko informed this on Twitter.
"The President has just congratulated by phone the first Ukrainians released from the enemy captivity," he said.
According to Tsegolko, every step in the process of exchange is under the control of the President.
The militants already transferred 16 hostages to the Ukrainian side in the framework of the exchange of prisoners under the formula of "306 for 74".
