Tokyo: stocks confirmed to have been opened almost flat
(MENAFN) With the appreciation of the yen against the US dollar experiencing export-linked issues sold, Tokyo stocks opened nearly flat Thursday.
The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average moved up as of 9:15am to 7.61 points, 0.03 percent, starting Wednesday to 22,765.68.
Meanwhile, on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, the entire First Section issues of the broader Topix index shed 1.17 points, 0.06 percent, at 1,809.67.
