Israeli forces fire three missiles targeting a Syrian military post


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) AMMAN, Dec 5 (KUNA) -- Israeli air forces fired three missile targeting a military post in Damascus countryside, but the missiles were shutdown by the Syrian army, Syrian news agency (SANA) said Tuesday.

An informed source told SANA that that the army's air defense intercepted the Israeli missiles and shot down three of them.

On December first, the army's air defense confronted an Israeli attack with ground-to-ground missiles on one of the military posts in Damascus countryside, destroying two of them, SANA added.

Meanwhile, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the missiles targeting a scientific reseach center at the suburbs of Damascus, which caused large shockwaves to the capital. (end) tk.mb
