ISC Uttaranchal Wing hosts annual cultural programme
The objective is to spread the knowledge of indigenous culture among the children and give a feeling of being at home away from home. This year, 20 cultural programmes were presented including solo songs, solo/couple dances, fancy dress based on the Indian Goddesses, kids/ladies group dances, Ramleela skit, etc. Padmini Atal, convener, Charity Wing, Indian Social Club Oman, was the chief guest on the occasion. She along with other senior members of the wing lighted the lamp to formally start the programme.
Hari Bhajan Rayal, general secretary, welcomed all the wing members and appreciated their efforts in coming forward to take part enthusiastically in the cultural programme. Excellent anchoring was conducted by Manoj Singh Bist, sports secretary, and two young talented school girls Sakshi Semwal and Dhriti Bhatt who regaled the audience throughout the two and a half hour cultural event.
