Kuwait- 150 kg cannabis worth KD 300,000 seized

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 20: The Interior Ministry managed to foil an attempt to smuggle around 150 kilograms of cannabis into the country, said a statement Monday. The Ministry's Public Relations department said that an illegal resident tried to smuggle the cannabis, worth KD 300,000, through a sea shipment. The suspect, who has connections to networks in nearby countries, confessed to the crime, said the department, adding investigations will continue on the matter in an effort to block narcotics from entering the country.
