Jordan- Humanitarian aid convoy dispatched to Gaza


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Oct. 24 (Petra)-- The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), in cooperation with the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, on Tuesday dispatched a humanitarian aid convoy to the Gaza Strip.

JHCO acting Secretary General Rajab Zubaidah said the six-truck convoy, laden with 100 tons, five of which was a donation from South Africa's Al-Imdaad Foundation and the other was donation from the NIDA Foundation in the United States.

The convoys that are being sent to the Gaza Strip and the West Bank come under the royal directives based on the brotherly and historic ties which link the Kingdom and Palestine, Zubaidah said.
