Saudi Arabia issued 87,575 licenses for women
(MENAFN) A number of 87,575 commercial registrations were issued for women in Saudi Arabia at the end of the Hijra year 1438 by the Ministry of Commerce and Investment.
A ministry official said that licenses were issued all over the country; Riyadh recorded the highest number with 20,086 licenses, followed by Jeddah with 13,826, Mecca 5,098, Madinah 4,400 and Taif 3,861.
The licenses were issued for businesses in diverse fields, including trade, manufacturing, communications, information technology, real estate, cleaning, tourism, restaurants and exhibitions.
