Army chief visits United States
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, July 27 (Petra)--Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. General Mahmoud Abdul Halim visited the United States where he met with Chief of Staff of the US Army Mark A. Milley and other officials during which he discussed with them cooperation between the two countries' armies and means to combat terrorism.
Accompanied by his US counterpart. Lt. General Freihat visited in Washington the Arlington National Cemetery where he laid a wreath and toured monument.
He also visited the United States Department of Defense and other military facilities where he discussed with senior officials joint cooperation.
