Erdogan promises to fight against enemies
(MENAFN) As Tayyip Erdogan was voted leader of the ruling AK party he promised to fight Turkey's enemies at home and abroad.
Although Erdogan founded the Islamist AKP in 2001 and led it to victory in a general election in the last year, he had to give up its leadership three years ago, when was elected president.
"The months ahead will be a leap forward for Turkey, from its fight against terrorism to the economy, from the broadening of rights and freedoms to investments,"said Erdogan.
Additionally, Erdogan take back the AKP from Binali Yildirim, who still the prime minister till the election set for 2019.
