Oman- Bahwan Healthcare Centre inaugurates three facilities in new Ghala premises

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Bahwan Healthcare Centre (BHC), one of the flagship companies of Suhail Bahwan Group, has opened three new healthcare facilities – American Spine Center, Bahwan Medical Centre and Bahwan Pharmacy - in its new premises in Ghala.

The facilities were officially inaugurated by Sayyid Dr Sultan Y Q al Busaidi, Advisor for Health Affairs, Ministry of Health, and Amal Suhail Bahwan, vice chairperson, Suhail Bahwan Group, in the presence of a large of number of VIPs, senior officials from the ministry and doctors from prominent hospitals.

The VIPs were taken on a tour of the new facilities with the state-of-the-art equipment, treatment rooms and experienced specialists and support staff. The facilities are part of Bahwan Healthcare Centre's planned commercial operations to bring specialised medical care to the people of Oman.

Amal said, 'Providing patient healthcare service is not new to the Suhail Bahwan Group; for over three decades, we have been providing primary healthcare services through our own Bahwan Clinics to the group's 15,000 employees and their dependents.

'Now, we would like to bring specialised and quality medical care to the people of Oman through alternative therapies avoiding complicated surgeries and providing comfort to patients in an easy and affordable manner. The inauguration of American Spine Center, Bahwan Medical Center and Bahwan Pharmacy is towards achieving this goal.'

The American Spine Center, specialising in neck and back pain management, offers FDA- approved, cutting-edge, comprehensive, non-surgical treatment for spine disorders including disc herniation, bulging disc, disc compression and acute or chronic conditions of the spine, with its patented IDD therapy.

Bahwan Medical Centre is a day care multi-speciality clinic offering latest treatment solutions in five specialities such as cardiology, psychiatry, paediatrics, gynecology and internal medicine.

Bahwan Pharmacy will stock prescription medicine as well as over-the-counter (OTC) products for the public.
