Peru's exports of avocado grow 24.5% in August
(MENAFN) Peru's foreign trade bureau ComexPeru said that fresh avocados exports posted USD386.6m, up 24.5% year-on-year.
This growth in exports is linked to a higher demand for avocados around the world, which caused prices to rise from USD1.55 a kg to USD2.1 in August.
According to official reports, Peru exports of avocados to China registered 12.319 tons.
