UAE- 2 guards transporting ATM cash injured after attack

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Two officers from a security company were seriously injured after they were assaulted by two robbers near a shopping mall in Sharjah. The officers were transporting cash to an ATM machine in the mall when they were attacked.

According to the police, the duo was getting out of their vehicle when the two men attacked them. The officers fought back and managed to prevent the assailants from robbing the money.

The two assailants fled the spot after the unsuccessful robbery attempt.

On being notified about the attack, the police rushed to the spot. The injured men were taken to the nearest hospital, where their condition is said to be stable.
