Remittances from Qatar grow by up 40 percent
(MENAFN) Remirrances from Qatar climbed by more than 40 percent compared to the previous month.
On the other hand, exchange houses saw a large number of expatriates lining up to send money to their families back home.
Accordingly, almost 35-40 percent increased in payments, and 15-20 percent growth in remittances during Ramdan.
Moreover, remittances rise during Ramdan as most Asian expatraites send money to their families to meet expenses during the Holy Month and for Eid.
