Man jumps to death in bid to flee police raid
(MENAFN- Khaleej Times)An African man died after he jumped off the sixth floor of a residential building in Sharjah to flee a police raid. The incident was reported around 2am on Wednesday.
According to the police a team raided the building in the Abu Shagara area to arrest the African who was staying in the UAE illegally. As soon as the police raided the flat in which the deceased was staying he rushed to the balcony and jumped. He died on the spot. The body has been shifted to the forensic department for an autopsy.
