Kuwait- Iran envoy touts His Highness the Amir's visit to Tehran
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Iranian Ambassador to Kuwait Ali Anayati on Monday said the landmark visit to Tehran in early June by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah is "a bright spot" in the history of the bilateral ties.
Speaking to reporters at his embassy, Anayati voiced hope that the two countries would capitalize on the success of the visit in implementing the cooperation agreements in various fields.
He noted that both sides share the desire to work on several dossiers of the bilateral ties.
They set up a joint commission on cooperation which meets on an annual basis, he added.
During his two-day visit, His Highness the Amir held successful talks with Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and President Hassan Rouhani on various issues of common concern.
