Sudanese First VicePresident Meets President Afwerki
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Artoum may 09 (qna) - sudanese first vice president gen.bakri hassan saleh has conferred here with visiting eritrean president isaias afwerki.
the two sides discuss during their meeting held here last night means of boosting scopes of joint cooperation and how best to further bolster bilateral relations.
earlier thursday president omar al-bashir on thursday held talks with eritrean president isaias afwerki who started today a multi-day visit to khartoum.
the two leaders reviewed bilateral relations and means of boosting and developing them as well as issues of mutual concern.
talks also focused on expanding economic partnerships and exchanging commercial benefits through borders a sudanese official said noting that the two also touched on the issue of border security and linking the two countries.
additionally they discussed issues related to the exchange of expertise consolidating ties and means of enhancing them so as to boost mutual interests and regional security. (qna)
