Amman Stock Exchange trading report for Mar 9


(MENAFN- Jordan Times) Tuesday's trading value amounted to JD28.9 million spread over 34.1 million shares traded through 8,387 transactions. The share price index closed at 2,458 points, an increase of 0.32 per cent. Out of 170 companies whose shares were traded, prices of 65 corporations rose, and those of 62 firms declined. The top five gainers were Ubour Logistic Services Plc. by 4.83 per cent, Jordan Emirates Insurance by 4.76 per cent, Irbid District Electricity by 4.76 per cent, Arab German Insurance by 4.76 per cent and Premier Business and Projects by 4.75 per cent. The top five losers were Middle East Complex for Eng., Electronics and Heavy Industries by 5 per cent, Pearl-Sanitary Paper Converting by 4.95 per cent, Petra Education by 4.94 per cent, Ad Dulayl Industrial Park Co and Real Estate by 4.92 per cent, and Al Qaria Food and Vegetable Oil Industries by 4.85 per cent.
