Turkey's defense, aviation exports to Africa increase on yearly basis
(MENAFN)On January-May 2021, Turkey's defense and aviation exports to the African continent increased eleven-fold on yearly basis.
Data recorded by Anadolu Agency issued that the number for January-May period jumped to USD61.2 million.
Turkey’s entire defense and aviation industry goods exports stood at USD1.1 billion in the first five months, increasing 48.3 percent from the same mentioned period of 2020.
Africa was after Turkish exports to the Commonwealth of Independent States, increasing 511 percent, North America with 64 percent, and other European countries with 18 percent, in terms of related surges.
The US continued to be Turkey's top export market for defense and aviation industry goods to stand at USD476.2 million, increasing 66 percent yearly.
