Czech police indict 3 people of animal cruelty


(MENAFN) State attorney Jitka Bojanovova declared that Czech police have indicted three people of animal cruelty.

If the suspects were to be convicted, they could spend up to five years in prison.

Under the suspicion of illegal treatment of animals, customs and police officers have been taking action in Prague, central and north Bohemia.

Local media confirmed that the case involved the murder of tigers in the Bast Zoopark and the subsequent operations of products created of tiger derivates by local community.
