Iran, Rosgeo sign geological deal on exploration


(MENAFN) The Geological Service of Iran was confirmed to have signed a deal with Russia's geological holding Rosgeo for an offshore exploration as well as a deal to carry out aerial geophysical studies in Iran.

TASS reported that Rosgeo confirmed the documents to have been signed the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

The first document was explained to allow Rosgeo to execute 2D seismic in the Iranian segment of the Caspian Sea.

The second document was also said to allow for aerial geophysical studies to be conducted on the Iranian territory.
